I'm Albin — a 24-year-old (as of 2025 😉) Cloud Enthusiast from Switzerland. I like to think of myself as someone who's deeply passionate about all things cloud, security, and, let's be honest, geeking out over tech. 🤓
In 2016, I started my apprenticeship as an IT specialist, including earning my vocational baccalaureate. After that, I began studying Information & Cyber Security at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). However, my studies are currently on hold due to the sheer workload of running AdVision.
Back in 2021, I founded AdVision Swiss AG (AdVision Swiss Inc.), a company with a strong focus on infrastructure and security. We're a Microsoft-only shop, helping medium and large organizations — public institutions 🏛️, schools 🏫, and midsize businesses 💼 — navigate their digital transformation. We also take care of smaller companies as their MSP if they have at least 10 users. Fast forward to now, we've grown into a solid team with two key departments: Entra & Security 🔐 and Azure & Operations ☁️. Despite our young company history, we’re already a certified Microsoft Solutions Provider in the area of Modern Work — and there’s more to come! 😎
My role? Apart from boring CEO Tasks I'm the Tech Lead for Entra & Security. Makes sense, right? But overall this blog stays independent of AdVision and has no connection to my company. The only exception is when I share customer use cases that are not covered by an NDA. 😉
So, why start a blog? Well, my strengths lie in areas like Intune (Endpoint Security) 💻, Defender 🛡️, and Entra 🔐. I spend my days ensuring our Conditional Access policies, Identity Protection, and Endpoint Protection are rock solid. And yes, Sentinel 🛰️ is part of the game too — though we primarily outsource that with our Customers to some bigger SOCs.
The blog name says it all — I'll be focusing on Indefent: Intune, Defender, and Entra, with some touches of Azure mainly cloud computing and governance. While I'll share some technical insights, scripting isn't really my strongest skill. If I use any scripts, they’ll most likely be contributions from other MVPs or great community blogs, and I’ll be sure to give credit where it’s due. The community is huge, and that’s something I truly appreciate! 🙌

When I'm not diving into the world of cloud and security, I enjoy spending quiet time with my dog 🐕, exploring nature 🌲, and soaking in the fresh air. I'm also an aviation enthusiast ✈️, currently working on getting my license to fly a Bristell B23 Turbo.
So yeah, boredom isn't really a thing for me. 😄
